TAYLOR SPREITLER DISHES ON TONIGHT'S HALLOWEEN EPISODE OF "KEVIN CAN WAIT"! PDF Print E-mail

An all-new episode of KEVIN CAN WAIT airs tonight on CBS and we CAN’T WAIT to watch this one. In the “Hallow-We-Ain’t-Home” episode, things heat up for Chale when he has an uncomfortable encounter with an exceptionally large man in a Viking costume, while at a local Trunk-or-Treat event. Also, when Kevin and Donna set out to reclaim a stolen welcome sign taken by a neighborhood kid, they get “tricked” into a Halloween-style retaliation as the result of a long-standing fued between Kevin and the boy’s father.

We got the deets on this hilarious new episode from series star Taylor Spreitler.

On tonight’s episode: That was a fun one. I am a princess. We have Noah Syndergaard, who is the pitcher for the (New York) Mets, in our show - that was pretty amazing. He is 6’6 and he is a big guy. He was so sweet. A lot of times when you have people on your show who are not actors, you always get worried and are like, “Gosh, they have never done this before - how are they going to do?", but he was amazing. I mean, he totally killed it. He rocked it. I am excited for everyone to see it. There are a lot of funny little stunts and things that Kevin and Donna get into that were a lot of fun. So, I think people will really enjoy it.

On getting serenaded by Chale: My sweet fiancé serenaded me in the parking lot of a middle school – so romantic.

On Chale’s conflict with the Viking: Yes, so that is Noah Syndergaard. He is our Viking. Yeah, he is very intimidating. He is already a big guy and you put Viking gear on him -- you know, it’s funny. Their scenes together are great. Chale just wants to sit there and serenade his princess on All Hallow’s Eve and then you have this big Viking that shows up with loud music and kind of interrupts that. You know, Chale has to man up and walk over there.

On Jack’s awesome cookie costume: The cookie is the most adorable thing I ever seen in my entire life. I love James so much and seeing him dressed up as a cookie – I almost cried when I saw him. It was like seeing an adorable little puppy. It’s also great because he can’t move. He can’t fit in doorways with a cookie on. We had to have people guide him up the stairs and through doors. He couldn’t sit down in it, but he loved it. I think he wanted to take it home and wear it for real Halloween.

Tune into CBS tonight at 8/7 central to catch the hilarious Halloween episode of KEVIN CAN WAIT.
