Pop sensation Justin Bieber stopped by the Radio Disney studios this week to hang out with Ernie D and record a segment for a special Take Over episode that will be airing on Friday, April 2nd at 3PM PT/6PM ET. During Justin's Take Over he discussed the much anticipated release of his sophomore album "My World 2.0" and his upcoming concert tour. When asked about the most exciting thing he has done over the past year, Justin told Ernie D that "there has been a lot of great moments, but I would have to say it was pretty amazing performing for the President. That was pretty sweet and presenting at the Grammys." Now that Justin is legal age to obtain a license he is learning how to drive. "My mom is scared to death to ride with me. I ride with different people, like my manager lets me drive," Justin confessed. This morning Carrie Underwoodplaced a suprise phone call to an ecstatic young fan announcing to that she will be returning to the festival this year to perform at the upcoming 2010 CMA Festival in Nashville this summer. Many fans were upset last year that Carrie chose to attend the festival but opted out of performing at the popular LP Field showcase. The only performances Carrie made during last years music festival was during her fan club gathering at the Grand Ole Opry and a special performance later that night for the public at the same venue. HTZ attended the CityRockin' Holidays Benefit Concert Series at Universal CityWalk last night to see Radio Disney's Next Big Thing contestant Josh Golden perform with his band! Fans braved the chilly weather for hours to secure their front row position for the show. The concert series is sponsored by Universal CityWalk, The Entertainment Capital of L.A., The Hard Rock Cafe, Twist Magazine and WHY. Josh performed some crowd favorites from his debut album which included "I Fall Down" "Get Ready For This" and the final number "Small Town, Big City." Josh also performed his soon-to-be-released Christmas song "Feels Like Christmas" and a cover of Akon's hit song "Right Now" as friends like Cody Linley and Taylor Spreitler looked on! O-Seven Artist Management brought a few of their artists down to the Vanderbilt Children's Hospital and Ronald McDonald House in Nashville last weekend to put a little holiday cheer on the faces of young patients! During their visit at the Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, Love & Theft, Bucky Covington and Sawyer Brown performed a surprise guitar pull mixed with classic Christmas music and new Country hits! Some of the kids even pulled out toy drums, tambourines and maracas and played along with the band! Afterwards, the musicians made their way to the Ronald McDonald House where they served up a special birthday lunch for one patient and entertained the crowd throughout the birthday party! Mitchel Musso, Kimberly Locke & Michael Johns brought a little Christmas flavor to the Hollywood & Highland outdoor mall on Saturday night in celebration of the "Holiday of Hope" tree-lighting benefit. The evening kicked off with a special VIP private reception gala which featured acoustic performances from all of the participating artists and a silent auction benefitting the One Heartland Foundation. The festivities moved outdoors for a free concert open to the public and guest speakers including Olesya Rulin, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, Robbie Amell and many more! Other celebrities in attendance included Ryan Newman and Santa Claus! Michael Johns performed a special Christmas song which he wrote for his parents back in Australia. Kimberly Locke sang one of her favorite Christmas songs, "Silent Night" and followed with one of her memorable tunes from American Idole, "Somewhere Over The Rainbow." The last performer of the evening definitely needed no introduction as the audience chanted his name before taking the stage. Mitchel Musso performed his current hit single "Shout It" and closed the show down with a ground-shaking version of "Jingle Bell Rock." YouTube has catapulted Lucas Cruikshank into international stardom this year, resulting in the win of a Teen Choice Award for Favorite Online Celebrity. Lucas is probably best known for his portrayal of Fred in the hysterical videos posted on YouTube, but now fans can have a fun time listening to the digitally release of Lucas' debut Christmas album titled "It's Hackin' Christmas with Fred" (click here to purchase). The music video for the original song "Christmas Cash" debuted on YouTube yesterday and has already received over 300,000 views (click her to watch).
