Did you know that Shake It Up star Kenton Duty suffers from a chocolate allergy? Or that he is highly involved with the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN) working to help kids and adults with food allergies have safer lives? Last year, our junior reporter Natalia Stoa joined Kenton (celebrity ambassador) and Kendall Hollinger (teen chair) as the youth chair for the Los Angeles walk. This year, the FAAN walk will be in Long Beach on October 21, 2012 and Natalia is ready to join her friends again. Will you come too? Click here to find out more about the FAAN Walk for Food Allergy.

UPDATE! Kenton Duty from Disney Channel's "Shake It Up" was in Washington, D.C. earlier this week as an advocate for the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN). In particular, Kenton spoke on Capitol Hill with congressmen and senators to support the School Access to Emergency Epinephrine Act. The proposed legislation would encourage states to make sure schools have access to epinephrine in the event a child has an allergic reaction at school. This legislation comes on the heels of the death of 7-year-old Amarria Pendleton who died after eating a peanut at school - of which she was allergic.

Kenton has been heavily involved in the non-profit organization and continues to support a cause that will inevitably save countless children.
